Drawing Anime Eyes

 

If you notice each eye is different, whether it’s the color, or the eyelashes. I find that eyes can show a lot of character. If you notice the eye that is red has a very flat eyelash, that gives it the vibe that this character doesn’t really care about things and maybe the character is depressed. But the purple eye looks like the complete opposite! 

So this is how you draw these eyes. 

 

So you are going to draw the line and add eyelashes and a pupil, the pupil can look however you’d like it to be, it could be just a circle or it could be a heart! A star! Anything! 

So draw the bottom eyelashes, the eyebrow and the eyelid, you don’t have to draw the bottom eyelashes if you don’t want to. 

So you now color black these areas and only these areas, black isn’t needed anywhere else. Here’s a picture without the sketch so you can see it easier.

Next you are going to chose a very dark color of the color you want the eye to be. 

Then you are going to color the other colors of the eye starting with the lightest and going down to darkest.

You could keep the coloring like this, or you could blend the colors and it will all come together.

Now there’s just a few more things to do, color the eyebrow! So your going to want to make the eyebrow darker than the hair color (sometimes) and have the outline be a thin black line.

Also do some gray shading and add white highlights, then you are finished.
